International invoice generator for creators and freelancers

An international invoice generator creates an invoice for a client outside your own country, in that client's currency and in the format their finance team expects. CollabSafe lets you switch a single invoice between Indian mode, with GST and TDS, and international mode, with a currency of your choice such as USD, EUR, GBP or AED, a configurable tax line for VAT or sales tax, both parties' Tax or VAT IDs, payment terms such as Net 15 or Net 30, and international payment details including bank transfer with IBAN and SWIFT or BIC, PayPal, Wise and Stripe. You then download the invoice as a PDF, print it, share it or email it to the client.

Indian creators and freelancers increasingly work with brands in the US, Europe, the UK and the Gulf. Those clients rarely accept a rupee invoice with a CGST and SGST split. They expect a currency they pay in, a tax line that matches their own rules, and bank details they can actually wire money to.

How it works

  1. 1

    Choose international mode

Open the invoice generator and pick International instead of Indian. Everything else adapts to that choice.

  2. 2

Add your details and the client's

Business name, address and contact for both sides, plus each party's Tax or VAT ID where it applies.

  3. 3

    Set currency, numbering and dates

Pick the billing currency, set the invoice number, the issue date, the due date and payment terms such as Net 15 or Net 30.

  4. 4

    List line items and discounts

Describe each deliverable with quantity and rate. Add a discount if you agreed one, and the totals recalculate.

  5. 5

Add tax if the deal needs it

Name the tax line yourself, VAT, GST or Sales Tax, set the rate, or leave it off for a zero-rated export of services.

  6. 6

    Add payment instructions and send

Enter bank, PayPal, Wise or Stripe details with any instructions and notes, then download or email the PDF.

What you get

Right currency, right format

Amounts, symbols and totals render correctly for the currency you bill in.

Tax you define

Name and rate are yours to set, so the invoice fits VAT, sales tax or an export with no tax at all.

Every payment route covered

Bank transfer, PayPal, Wise, Stripe or another method, with the reference fields banks require.

Fewer payment delays

Clear terms, due dates and payment instructions remove the usual back-and-forth before a transfer.

Professional design

Templates that look like a finance department's invoice, not a word-processor document.

Indian invoicing untouched

Switch back to Indian mode any time for GST, TDS, PAN and GSTIN invoices.

Who it's for

Creators with overseas brand deals

Bill a US or European brand in their currency, with the tax line and reference their finance team asks for.

Freelancers and consultants

Send Net 15 or Net 30 invoices with IBAN and SWIFT details so wires arrive without follow-up emails.

Small agencies and studios

Keep Indian and international invoicing in one tool with one numbering sequence you control.

Anyone paid through Wise or PayPal

Put the exact payment route on the invoice instead of pasting it into a chat.

Frequently asked questions

Can I invoice a foreign client in USD from India?

Yes. Choose international mode, select USD as the billing currency and enter your bank's SWIFT or BIC code along with the account details your bank uses for inward remittances. The invoice states the amount, the currency and the payment route clearly.

Do I charge GST on an invoice to an overseas client?

Export of services is often zero-rated in India, which is why international mode lets you leave the tax line off entirely, or set a tax name and rate if the client's country requires one. Confirm your specific position with your accountant.

What is the difference between the Indian and international invoice?

The Indian invoice carries GST with CGST, SGST and IGST splits, TDS deduction, PAN and GSTIN. The international invoice carries a chosen currency, a configurable tax line, Tax and VAT IDs, payment terms and international bank or wallet details.

Which payment details can I include?

Bank transfer with account number, IBAN, SWIFT or BIC and routing number, plus PayPal, Wise, Stripe or a custom method you describe yourself, along with free-text payment instructions.

Can I add my VAT or Tax ID?

Yes. Both your Tax or VAT ID and the client's can appear on the invoice, which many European and Gulf clients need before their finance team can process a payment.

Are payment terms like Net 30 supported?

Yes. Set the issue date, the due date and a payment term such as Due on receipt, Net 15, Net 30 or Net 45, and the invoice shows both the term and the calculated due date.

Can I send the invoice by email from CollabSafe?

Yes. You can download or print the PDF, share it, or email it to the client and copy other recipients such as their accounts team. Unpaid invoices can also get automated reminders.

Is the international invoice generator free?

You can create and download invoices on the free tier. Paid plans raise invoice limits, remove watermarks and unlock sending and reminder features.
