1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CollabSafe ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CollabSafe is a tool that helps Indian content creators generate professional brand deal agreements. The Service provides well-vetted, creator-compliant templates for collaboration agreements, UGC contracts, payment terms, exclusivity clauses, and usage rights agreements.

3. Not Legal Advice

Important: CollabSafe is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The agreements generated by our Service are templates designed to help structure brand deals. They are not a substitute for professional legal counsel. We recommend consulting with a qualified lawyer for complex or high-value agreements.

4. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • One person may not maintain more than one account.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all agreements and content you create using CollabSafe. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or fraudulent purpose.
  • Generate agreements with intentionally false or misleading information.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service.
  • Resell or redistribute generated agreements as a competing service.

6a. Connected Accounts (Gmail / SMTP)

CollabSafe lets you optionally connect your Gmail / Google Workspace account or a custom SMTP server so that reminder and follow-up emails are sent from your own inbox. By connecting an account, you agree that:

  • You authorise CollabSafe to send emails on your behalf using only the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send scope (or your provided SMTP credentials). We do not read, modify, or delete any messages in your mailbox.
  • CollabSafe's use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
  • You may disconnect your Gmail or SMTP connection at any time from Settings → Connected Accounts. On disconnect we revoke the OAuth tokens with Google and delete stored credentials from our database.
  • You are responsible for the content of emails you trigger and for compliance with anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, India's DPDP Act, etc.) when sending to recipients.
  • You will not use the Gmail-send integration for unsolicited bulk mail, phishing, malware, or any content that violates Google's policies.

7. Limitation of Liability

CollabSafe is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any disputes, financial losses, or legal issues arising from the use of agreements generated through our Service. Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying all agreement terms before signing.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

11. Refund Policy

Refunds are available for all paid plans (Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly) subject to the usage-based policy described below. Refund requests must be made within the active subscription period.

Eligibility & Calculation

  • No usage (0 agreements generated): Full refund of the plan amount.
  • Partial usage: Refund is proportional to the remaining unused quota. For example, if you purchased a Monthly plan (20 agreements) and used 5, you are eligible for a refund of 75% of the plan amount.
  • Full usage: If the entire agreement quota has been used, no refund will be issued.

The refund amount is calculated as:

Refund = (Remaining agreements ÷ Total agreements in plan) × Plan price

Processing

  • Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days after approval.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method (UPI, card, or net banking).
  • Upon refund, your plan will be downgraded to the Free tier immediately.

Non-Refundable Items

  • Agreements already generated and downloaded cannot be "returned" — the refund only covers unused quota.
  • The free Rate Calculator feature is always free and not part of refund calculations.

Duplicate or Erroneous Charges

In cases where a technical error causes a duplicate or erroneous charge, we will process a full refund within 5–7 business days upon verification.
